The Print
Based on the strikingly vibrant Carmine Bee - Eater birds. These vibrant birds hold a special place in our hearts, especially for our designer and founder, Acacia, who grew up in the beautiful landscapes of Zambia where these birds are commonly found.
The captivating photograph of the Carmine Bee-eater which inspired this print was taken by the talented photographer and close friend, David Fettes. His incredible shot was then transformed into a detailed drawing, which now adorns our eco-friendly bamboo socks.
The Fabric
Our socks are crafted from bamboo fabric, ensuring that they are both sustainable and luxurious. Bamboo is an incredibly eco-friendly resource, as it grows rapidly without the need for pesticides or fertilisers, and it requires far less water than traditional crops.
